I am an old fashioned girl from Vermont who cherishes the old ways, the warm layers, the embrace of family and the heirloom quality of handmade.

Besides the creation of handmade items, I have been fascinated by learning about what makes a person successful in fields like arts and crafts, and the creation process behind it. I have in these few years, spend many hours reading about that, and researching it.

Now, I decided to cross on the other side. From this week on I will be posting one interview a week, every Thursday with successful Etsy sellers, other craftsmen, writers, photographers and art people.

It’s filled with more than 1200 items, mainly knit hats, but also scarfs and other accessories. The store attracts with huge variety of shapes and colors, as well as very attractive pictures. Hey guys, so this is my first vlog, hope you enjoy it!

I’ve recently been learning a lot of new things, and they were all filled with that feeling you have when you start something new and you aren’t exactly sure how it’s working out. This video is about this feeling.

Also, I want to introduce myself. My actual name is Gergana, but since I’ve found it’s sometimes hard to pronounce for foreigners, for the purpose of my youtube channel and this blog, I will be going under Maxi.

So, I’ve been going through few personal issues the past years, and I didn’t really have much time for my store than. I learned some things on the way. It was enough to keep me going. Now, when I finally have the time, I am getting back to my store, and planning to do things right this time, put the hours in.

Here I have collected some of my suggestions for creating your own crafts business online, mostly things I wish I had known, or implemented, when I began. I hope you find it useful.
